Cheese Grits


1 1/2 cups water
6 tablespoons quick-cooking grits
Pinch of salt
Pinch of garlic powder
1/4 cup fat free shredded  Cheddar cheese
Pinch of paprika


Combine water, grits, salt and garlic powder in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until desired consistency. Remove from the heat and stir in cheese and paprika, stirring until the cheese melts.
